What should I expect?

Before

Consultation: Melanie will assess your facial anatomy and discuss your goals to determine the best approach for your treatment. For new clients, a 30-minute consultation is required before your first session. Preparation: The treatment area will be cleansed, and a numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort.

During

Injection Process: Small amounts of botulinum toxin are injected into the targeted muscles using a very fine needle. The treatment is quick and usually causes minimal discomfort. Duration: The procedure typically takes about 15-30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.

After

Immediate Effects: You may notice slight redness or swelling at the injection site, but this typically resolves within a few hours. Post-Treatment Care: Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for the first 24 hours. You should also avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sun exposure for a few days. Results: The effects of the treatment will be noticeable within 3-7 days, with optimal results appearing within 2 weeks. The results can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, after which maintenance treatments are recommended.
