More than Skin Deep
When you start a journey with Elite, we understand that your concern may extend further than being simply skin deep. We want everyone to feel their best, but oftentimes, the way we feel about our appearance can also have a detrimental effect on our confidence and self-esteem.
But suppressing your feelings and creating negative self-talk about your appearance can be harmful to your mental health. Covering these concerns with make up or trying yet another cream can lead to further frustration when it does not work or help silence your internal narrative. Therefore, we feel it is so crucial that if these kinds of feelings are troubling you, it is so important to firstly talk about it. It is the first step to overcoming the issue.
We, as skin consultants, are here firstly to listen and understand your concerns without judgement or pre-conception. Everybody’s story is different, and we understand how imperative it is to share your internal narrative with a professional who can put you on the right path and help with your concern. At Elite, with our extensive industry experience and suite of advanced skin treatments and cosmeceutical products, we know that the journeys we put our clients on will lead to their best skin ever, but more importantly, their greatest self-confidence.
The role of skin health
If skin confidence in not something you struggle with then that is incredible, we want you to own that empowerment! However, the second key theme of our education is centered around how to take care of the health of your skin for your lifetime. This is because skin diseases, such as skin cancer, are on the rise – and skin cancer is in fact the most common form of cancer worldwide. So, our plea to you is to educate yourself on how you can look after your skin so that it is healthy, happy, and ageing well.
