Pre Care
8 weeks prior
No waxing, plucking or threading
4 weeks Prior and During Course
Do not expose skin to UV light (sun) or fake tan
1 week Prior
Avoid intense exfoliation, microdermabrasion or peels
1 day prior
Please shave or trim area of treatment
If you hair is not trimmed or shaved we may have to ask you to rearrange your appointment, however you will incur a cancellation fee
Day of treatment
Avoid strong perfumes or deodorant if treating underarms
Avoid wearing tight clothing
Post Care
It is very common for some redness and follicle swelling to occur on the skin after the treatment, but this should not last longer than 24 hours. We will apply aloe vera following your treatment, and recommend you continue to do this at home for the few days following your treatment
For 48 hours
Avoid all heat treatments including hot baths / shower
No swimming or sauna use
Avoid strong perfumed products
Do not scratch or irritate the area
For 72 hours
No shaving
For 2 weeks
No sun exposure or fake tan
Throughout course
No waxing, plucking or threading
Use SPF on treatment area if not covered by clothing
